A GP journal, not a clinic brochure

Written by Dr Kotha, general practitioner working between the Gold Coast and Brisbane — for clinicians who like a clean argument, and for patients who want the story behind the advice.

This is a small editorial site: essays, infographics, the occasional podcast, and slide decks from teaching. It is not a booking system, not a second opinion service, and not a substitute for care with your own GP.

The voice is general practice — time-poor, specific, allergic to grey clinical templates. Colour is allowed. So is a well-set heading.

Who it is for

Patients on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane who want context, not a pamphlet.
GP colleagues, registrars, and students who like a page they can actually read.

What it is not

Personal medical advice. Your history is not on this page.
An emergency department. Call 000 when that is the right door.
A hospital specialist letter. If you need one, that happens in a consult.
